Project Background
The project involves the establishment of a Unified Network Management System (U-NMS) to streamline communication across the Central Sector and State Sector in the Northern Region (NR), North-Eastern Region (NER), and Western Region (WR). This includes the integration of existing network elements (NE) and current EMSs/NMSs into the new system. The project also entails the development of comprehensive database displays and reports, either created from scratch or adapted by importing and integrating data, including historical data stored in existing servers. Following the completion of the project, multi-year support will be provided to ensure seamless operation and ongoing system optimization.

● FCAPS Management of legacy devices like SDH, PDH, SCADA etc.
Our Approach & Solution
The approach focuses on the design and implementation of a robust network monitoring and management solution across the North and North-East regions. This includes FCAPS (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, and Security) with integrated helpdesk and log management capabilities. A comprehensive cybersecurity framework will be implemented, covering endpoints, Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), Host-based Intrusion Prevention Systems (HIPS), 12K EPS SIEM, reverse proxies, vulnerability assessment tools, IDAM, patch management, and an AAA & customized cybersecurity management console. All applications and modules will be deployed in high-availability data centers (DC) and disaster recovery sites (DR). The approach also involves day-to-day network monitoring, service management, and rigorous SLA and KPI management. Regular cybersecurity audits will be conducted by a CERT-In empanelled partner, ensuring continuous security compliance. The solution will seamlessly integrate with a multi-vendor ecosystem and legacy systems such as SDH, PDH, and SCADA, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the entire network infrastructure.
