Project Background
The project involves the design, execution, operation, and maintenance of a next-generation IP MPLS network , encompassing 44 network locations and 33 data centers. Additionally, the setup of a private cloud with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) will be implemented to enhance operational efficiency. Post-project completion, multi-year support will be provided to ensure the continued performance and optimization of the network and cloud infrastructure.
Challenges Faced and Mitigated
- No Centralized governance for infrastructure management
- Complex distributed architecture, without DR for Business Continuity
- Lack of self-provisioning and auto-scaling
- Lack of cloud abstraction and Automation
Our Approach & Solution
The project involves the design and implementation of a carrier-grade, on-premise private cloud with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), distributed across 12 different data centers. This highly resilient cloud infrastructure is designed to deliver a seamless user experience, with auto provisioning and scaling capabilities. It incorporates cloud abstraction, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and business continuity planning to ensure data protection and availability. A self-service portal and automation tools will streamline operations, while software-defined networking (SDN) will provide enhanced flexibility and control over the network infrastructure.
