Building Secure & Scalable Data Centers

Project Background

The project involves the supply and setup of ICT infrastructure at data centers and remote sites, along with ongoing operation and maintenance for a government enterprise. This includes the design and implementation of data center (DC) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions using an SDN-based spine-leaf architecture. Secure connectivity will be established between the DC-DR and over 250 remote sites to ensure seamless communication and data transfer. Additionally, multi-year support will be provided post-project completion to maintain and optimize the infrastructure.

Challenges Faced and Mitigated

  • Large-scale design and Implementation within stringent timelines
  • Integration with existing data center ecosystem
  • Multi-vendor Advanced Cybersecurity Solution
  • Intelligent Cabling Solution

Our Approach & Solution

The project involves the design and implementation of over 1000 rack servers of various types, including 1RU, 2RU, and storage-dense configurations. It includes the deployment of a software-defined, intelligent network switching solution, along with robust security measures at data centers, disaster recovery sites, and remote locations, ensuring secure connectivity for all users. Additionally, multi-layer cybersecurity solutions will be implemented, covering endpoints, Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Network Intrusion Prevention Systems (NIPS), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Network Access Control (NAC), and regular security audits. The infrastructure will also include over 100 smart racks, intelligent cabling, and an RFID-based asset tagging system for efficient management and monitoring.
